OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2011. From January 20 to January 23 Messukeskus exhibition center of Helsinki, Finland, will host the largest in Scandinavia international tourist exhibition MATKA – 2011.

As a tradition, the Republic of Karelia being one of the main tourist destinations in the northwest of the Russian Federation will take part in this significant tourist exhibition of North Europe.

Experts of the State Committee of the Republic of Karelia for Youth, Physical Training, Sports and Tourism, Information Tourist Center of the Republic of Karelia, Administration of Petrozavodsk city district, Kizhi open-air museum, the Marcial Waters (Martsialnye Vody) spa, Intourist-Petrozavodsk Joint-Stock Company, Tourholding Karelia, Ltd., Nordic Travel, Ltd. will work at the uniform stand of Karelia. Travel agencies of Kolmas Karelia, Ltd., Druzhba, Ltd. and Korela Travel Bureau, Ltd. will present their tourist products at the stand of Finnish partners.
