OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2011. 350 000-th Chevrolet NIVA vehicle rolled off GM-AVTOVAZ assembly line on January 14. It is Chevrolet NIVA 1.7 GLS painted in "Milky Way".

The first Russian SUV Chevrolet NIVA was produced at GM-AVTOVAZ in September, 2002. Also 1032 Chevrolet NIVA 1.8 vehicles with FAM 1 engine and 4210 Chevrolet Viva sedans were produced for more than 8 years.

Currently Chevrolet NIVA 1.7 L, LC, GLS and GLC are painted in 9 colors.

Chevrolet NIVA sales are provided via dealer network that includes 150 dealers in the Russian Federation and 8 dealers and 3 distributors in CIS countries.

GM-AVTOVAZ Company was established by General Motors, AVTOVAZ and European Bank of Reconstruction and Development in 2001, and it became the first large international Joint Venture in the Russian Automotive Market.
