Russian Govt Sells Its Stake in Yenisei Shipping on March 1st
OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2011. Federal Agency for Management of State Property (Rosimushchestvo) announced an auction to sell 25.5% stake in OJSC Yenisei River Shipping Company (ERP), the agency’s press release said. Applications of those who would be willing to make bids should be submitted until February 21, 2011. The auction is scheduled for March 1st.
Federal Property Management Agency to auction 7,864,650 shares of the shipping company. The SOB of the item is RUB744,615,000, bid step - 7 million rubles.
JSC Yenisei River Shipping Company is the main carrier of the goods on the waterways of the Yenisei River basin. The company owns and operates the largest in the region dry cargo and tanker fleet, about 650 vessels with a total capacity of about 680,000dwt. In 2010, the operator transported about 3,3 million tons of cargo.
The authorized capital of ERP is 30,841,725 rubles and is divided into 411,223 registered stock and 324,888 of common stock. Nominal value of a share is 75 rubles.
As of September 30, 2010, 51,9% of ERP’s shares are owned by OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel. Earlier, the Federal Antimonopoly Service granted the motion of Norilsk Nickel to acquire 156,243 of ordinaries (48.09% of voting shares) in OJSC Yenisei River Shipping Company.
