OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2011. Top managers and professionals of TATNEFT Company have become the winners of the annual Republican public contest "Manager of the Year" instituted by Decree of President of the Republic of Tatarstan No. UP-121 dated February 26, 2002.

The following persons from TATNEFT have been recognized as the winners of the contest "Manager of the Year - 2010": Nail Maganov, First Deputy General Director - Head of Oil and Petroleum Products Sale Department of TATNEFT, in the nomination "For active investment activity", Khamza Bagmanov, General Director of TANECO in the nomination "For improvement of environmental safety", Sergei Martynov, Director of Bugulma Mechanical Plant, in the nomination "For competitive advantage", Ilgiz Salikhov, Head of NGDU Nurlatneft in the nomination "For high level of social responsibility".

The ceremony of summing up the results of the contest "Manager of the Year - 2010" was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, State Adviser of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farit Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputies of the State Duma and Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation presenting Tatarstan, representatives of the state authorities of the Republic, federal authorities, republican ministries, agencies and organizations, etc.

In accordance with the Regulations of the contest the list of nominations and assessment criteria, which are the basis for summing up, is elaborated by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, taking into account the most relevant areas of the social and economic development of the Republic, defined by the annual address of President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the State Council and in accordance with the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The list of participants (nominees) of the contest had been formed based on the recommendations of the republican ministries and departments, municipal and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Trade Unions Federation of Tatarstan, as well as on the basis of the ratings of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Republic of Tatarstan (Tatarstanstat). In aggregate 152 leaders of enterprises and organizations of various sectors of the economy had been recommended to participate in the contest. 129 leaders of enterprises and organizations having provided in 2010 for high level of their enterprise performance together with their teams and particularly excelled in these areas of activity have been nominated.
