OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2011. Ukrainian pipe industry has boosted its output by 4.8% mom in December, scoring 11.1% yoy growth. Impressive 39.8% production hike by Khartsyzsk Pipe was the chief contributor to monthly growth, while Interpipe’s NITR and NVTR underperformed by 17.8% and 5.6% mom.

Millennium Capital: the news is POSITIVE for Pipes. Khartsyzsk Pipe still lags by 41.0% behind last year’s production, but is showing healthy signs of recovery on the back of the Russian orders. On the opposite, Interpipe Group has significantly improved performance this year, despite the setback at the end of the year.
