OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2011. Sviaz-Bank has entered into a high-level contract with the country’s Audit Chamber for delivery of banknotes (cash) from the Bank of Russia. The Bank was awarded the contract after its winning bid had been accepted in a public tender.

The Bank will provide services under the contract between January 1 and June 30, 2011.

Sviaz-Bank has been providing cash delivery services since 2004. It owns a fleet of special-purpose cash delivery vehicles equipped with modern security and surveillance systems and a staff of professional cash collectors.

In 2010, the Bank has delivered around 100 billion rubles in cash across Moscow and region.
