OREANDA-NEWS. January 12, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid the insurance compensation in amount of more than 15.8 million rubles under the hull insurance policy for the An-124-100 Ruslan airplane of “The 224th Flying Squad” State Airlines, the bottom of the fuselage and nose landing gear doors of which were seriously damaged. The insured event occurred in February 2010 during the preparation of the airplane for departure from the airfield in Chandigarh, India; there was a gear retraction as a result of the erroneous actions of the crew, when the plane was on the ground.
