OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2011. Acron Group has increased the domestic price cap for its complex fertiliser (NPK 16:16:16) in the first half of 2011 to RUB 11,470 per tonne (prices are FCA plant, bulk, excluding transportation costs and VAT). The increase is due to upcoming increases in the prices paid for inputs. In 2009–2010, the domestic NPK price cap was stable at RUB 10,200 per tonne.

Acron has already set the domestic price cap for ammonium nitrate at RUB 6,310 per tonne and for urea at RUB 9,230 per tonne (prices are FCA plant, bulk, excluding transportation costs and VAT).

The companies in the Acron Group set price caps for their mineral fertiliser sales to Russian farmers in accordance with a Cooperation Agreement signed between the Russian Fertiliser Producers Association and the Russian Agro-Industrial Association. This agreement is aimed at meeting domestic farmers’ demand for mineral fertilisers in 2008-2012.
