OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2011. Hydroelectric unit №1 Kambaratinskaya HPP-2 (Kyrgyzstan) and the station start production of the first electrical energy was held.

The started hydroelectric unit is equipped with the modern local control system (LCS). LCS made by the Scientific-Production Company (SPC) “Rakurs” in St.Petersburg on the basis of program-technical complex “Appogey”. The control system is designed for implement security features, monitoring, control, recording modes of the main and equipment radial-axial hydroturbine RO75/841v-V-580 LMZ with nominal capacity of 122,5 MW.

The system made by SPC “Rakurs” in full compliance with the requirements of RTN and Industry guidelines about the level of security and trouble-free (technology)process. It was manufactured and shipped in August 2010

The Deputy Energy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Avtandil Kalmanbetov explained the main reasons for the delay start hydroelectric unit: "After 30th August were the special adjustments of work. The fact, that the generator was designed by 25 years ago and made - 20 years ago. But if the turbine and generator are stay with same parameters - the automation system, protection and controls are modern, witch based on the microprocessor technology. All of this took(s) many time. "

The primary purpose of the automated system of control of a single hydroelectric unit is the creation control system of technological equipment hydroelectric unit to the integrated control of the process complex of electricity generation by Kambaratinskaya HPP-2.

"The first generator is placed under the industrial load, and energy through the network of 110 kilovolts was included in the interconnected systems of Kyrgyzstan. The annual output of the generator - about 700 million kilowatt-hour, which is comparable with the consumption of the Issyk-Kulskiy region" - said the deputy of minister.
