OREANDA-NEWS. January 6, 2011. The Volgograd branch of Ingosstrackh OJSIC has insured the harvest of Severodonetskaya yubileynaya, Ermak, Rosinka Tarasovkaya and Donskoy mayak winter wheats of 8 March CJSC, an agricultural company based in the Urupinsk district of the Volgograd region. The sum insured under the contract is RUB 43,994,000.

Under the terms of the insurance contract the harvest of crops in an area of 4,503 hectares is insured against loss(destruction) as a result of such adverse phenomena as hail, large hail, air drought, soil drought, a combination of excessive snow and insufficient ground frost causing the winter crops to rot out; low temperatures with insufficient snow or with snow drifts below 5 cm in height causing the winter crops to freeze and die; ground frost; ice crust; early snow cover; hurricane gales (hurricane); dust/sand storm; gale force winds; excess moisture content of the soil; rains lasting over extended periods of time; heavy rain; torrential rain.
