OREANDA-NEWS. January 6, 2011. The Nizhny Novgorod branch of Ingosstrakh OJSIC has once again won in an open auction for the state contract to ensure the grain of the regional food fund of the Nizhny Novgorod region.       

Insurance coverage is provided for RUB 42.7 million worth of inventories owned and managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod.

Under the terms of the new contract 7,691 tonnes of agricultural inventories (wheat and rye grain) is insured against damage and/or destruction as a result of unanticipated and sudden occurrence of any one or a combination of the following events: fire, lightning strike, natural gas explosion, natural disasters, damage by running water, sewage, hot water or water from fire extinguishing systems; damage as a result of seepage of water or other liquids into the structures where the insured property is stored, explosion of steam boilers, natural gas storage facilities, natural gas pipelines, pressurised vessels and other similar devices, burglary or robbery, deliberate malicious actions by third parties, falls of piloted aircraft or fragments of piloted aircraft onto the insured property, being run over by motor vehicles, excess exposure to moisture as a result of precipitation.
