OREANDA-NEWS. January 06, 2011. The Supervisory Council of JSC Ventspils nafta (VN) have made changes in the management board of VN. Aleksej Tarasov has been elected a board member, meanwhile VN Supervisory Council has recalled Andris Vilcmeiers and Aleksandr Yagdzhiyant from their positions, therefore VN management board is now operating in composition of 3 board members.

Aleksej Tarasov has graduated St-Petersburg VVMURE Academy with a diploma in engineering. Since 1986 he has been working at company Mazekiu Nafta, but from 1997 joined Vitol Lithuania office and has continuously worked there as Technical specialist. Main fields of his expertise include logistics, transportation, storage, and product quality preservation.

Chairman of the board of VN is Simon Boddy, board members are Boris Bednov and Aleksej Tarasov. Newly elected VN management board member Aleksej Tarasov does not posse VN shares.
