OREANDA-NEWS. January 4, 2011. The Supervisory Board of RBD decided on building up the size of regional limits to RUR 96.9 billion. First and foremost the limits will be increased to those regions which in the course of the year efficiently implemented the SME Lending Support Program and promptly used the allocated resources of over 70%. Formerly the total size of regional limits amounted to RUR 73.8 billion.

The regional limit is an ultimate size of financing to SMEs provided by the partner-banks in a certain region of the Russian Federation under the State SME Lending Support Program.

“Building up the size of regional limits is accomplished on the regular basis while receiving applications from the banks owing to the higher demand. We contemplate that it will become an additional impetus to further building up the size of SME lending in the whole Russia”, said S.Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD.
