OREANDA-NEWS. January 4, 2011. Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies – Heineken Breweries, in the Mogilev Region, and Rechitsapivo, in the Gomel Region – registered a 70.2% increase in output in January-November 2010 from previous January-November to 8.018 million decaliters, Belarus’ food concern Belgospischeprom said in a statement.

Heineken Breweries’ output rose 86% on the year to 7.096 million decaliters, while Rechitsapivo’s output increased 2.7% to 922,000 decaliters because of a large-scale reconstruction.

In November alone, the two breweries’ beer production increased 61.5% on the year to 620,000 decaliters. Heineken Breweries’ output rose 79.5% on November 2009 to 598,000 decaliters, and Rechitsavipo produced 22,000 decaliters of beer, down 56.1%.

Heineken Breweries made 5.393 million decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-November, up 86.5%, and 1.644 million decaliters in glass bottles, up 84.1%. Beer output in kegs reached 59,000 decaliters.

Rechitsapivo produced 690,000 decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-November 2010, up 23.3%, and 109,000 decaliters in glass bottles, down 22.8%. Beer offering in kegs fell 37.5% to 123,000 decaliters.

The two breweries delivered 7.525 million decaliters of beer to the retail network in January-November 2010, up 66.1% on the year.

Exports by Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies hiked 290% on the year in January-November to 414,000 decaliters, 371,200 decaliters by Heineken Breweries, up 10 times, and 42,000 decaliters by Rechitsapivo, down 39.1%.
