OREANDA-NEWS. January 3, 2011. A new hypermarket of "Lenta" network has opened in Pskov. The store located in Rizhskiy prospect, 96б, has become 39th object of the company. Investments in construction have made over 650 million roubles

"Lenta" in Pskov is a standard hypermarket of the general area 12000 sq.m., of which 8000 sq.m. are given to commercial premises, and where 36 modern cash terminals will be serving customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For clients of the trade store, a 550-car parking lot has been arranged. Thus, the shop has some special features with its new system of shelves, and better light arrangement.

According to Maxim Annenkov, director of the Pskov hypermarket, "Lenta" will be attracting people, first of all, with its special customer offers, guaranteeing essential budget saving. Our discount program will provide the buyers with significant discounts in each purchase: permanent customer’s card allows to save 5 % of the purchase check, the catalogue goods are sold with average 30 % discount, and discounts may reach 70 % during seasonal actions.

Moreover, since February of the new year-2011, "Lenta" plans to launch the program "Social card", which is already practiced in 19 cities. The program offers extra discounts ranging from 3 % up to 8 % to socially-significant goods for the disabled, pensioners, mothers of large families and the needy, according to the city administration’s assignment order. With allowance for permanent customer’s cards, the price for such social goods may decrease for 12 %.

As in the other cities, "Lenta" in Pskov will be selling more than 18000 of goods: fresh vegetables and fruit, dairy products, meat, fish, groceries, own bakery products, goods for home and interior design, clothes, footwear, audio and video devices.

Since the beginning of regional expansion, cooperation with regional manufacturers and suppliers has become the strategic direction in the company’s development.
