OREANDA-NEWS. January 3, 2011. The Tugnui Coal Cleaning Plant controlled by SUEK achieved the highest production level since its launch. In November, 381,034 tonnes of coal were cleaned and concentrate output rose to 302,349 tonnes.

The Tugnui Plant was launched in 2009. SUEK invested about one billion roubles in its construction. The production is entirely automated and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from the USA, China, Australia and Russia.

The design output of the Plant is 4.5 million tonnes a year. The concentrate specifications fully meet export standards (the end product ash content is 14%, moisture content is 10%, calorific value is 5,700 kcal/kg). The high quality of Tugnui coals opens up marketing opportunities not only in the Asia-Pacific region, but also in Western Europe.
