OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2010. JSC “TGC-2” delegation participated in Yaroslavl energy forum in Yaroslavl. The event was devoted to the problems of energy efficiency, energy economy and modernization of energy and communal infrastructure of Russia regions.

In the course of the forum General director TGC-2 Vladlen Alexandrovich informed that Company is realizing the programs of energy efficiency and energy economy on several directions. They are realization of projects, directed on decrease on fuel consumption, during production, transport of thermal and electric energy, decrease of energy expenses on Company economic needs, and also organization of accounting system and economy of thermal heat from the population.

The governor of Yaroslavl region Sergey Vahrukov was interested in joint project for building combined-cycle power plant TEC in Yaroslavl of TGC-2 and Chinese national corporation Huadian. He has discussed perspectives of the development for big energy in Yaroslavl during the Forum.

There is another important regional TGC-2 program in the sphere of energy economy - the project of transfer heat demand from not effective municipal heat sources to economically more efficient centralized heat supply from TGC-2 stations in Yaroslavl. The consumers of thermal heat in 2010 have been taken the decrease of tariff on 20% by centralized heat supply.

TGC-2 is realizing social programs for population – installation of photometer for thermal heat in TGC-2 regions. TGC-2 together with Government of Yaroslavl region and non-commercial organization Fund “Effectiveness” is realizing pilot project for installation house of photometer for thermal heat in block of flats Dzerzhinsky region.

“Energy efficiency and energy economy – fashionable words, but not everyone understands that they mean radical change of energy consume practice. From the service by default heat supply turns to balanced system which allows to take service of such volume and quality necessary to a consumer in concrete moment. Energy economy begins from the thermal heat accounting, which makes possible to control heat consume. We understand that practice of energy economy for population is very important social problem and we try together with regional heads and business take part in its solution”, - as General director TGC-2 Vladlen Alexandrovich said.
