OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2010.  “Observe! Limit! Be careful!” With this slogan “Yenisei Territorial Generating Company (TGC-13)” launched its competition for ideas on how to improve reliability, health and safety. The competition will run till 31 January 2011. The winners will be announced in March 2011.

The competition’s main purpose is to stimulate work in the area of work and safety which could prevent workplace injuries, professional illnesses and improve labour conditions.

All employees and company departments can participate, as can all branches and daughter companies of the holding. Competitors must formulate their main ideas that are aimed at improving labour safety, protecting employees’ health, describe the approach and the resources necessary to implement these ideas. In order to present the project it is also necessary to come up with an appropriate slogan.

From the results the top three projects from each branch will be chosen. Then in the competition final the winner will be chosen from among these. Participants who win the first three places will be rewarded with certificates and financials prizes.

In the energy industry, just as in others, health and safety has always been given special attention. Considering the high level of responsibility and the complexity of the energy industry, “Yenisei Territorial Generating Company (TGK-13)” runs various events. The goal is to improve working conditions, and to get company employees to pay attention to health and safety issues.
