NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) announced that it has acquired a 100% participation interest in LLC  Yamalgasresource-Chelyabinsk, a regional gas trader, to support the Company’s growing natural gas deliveries to the Chelyabinsk Region as well as to develop and expand new potential sales opportunities in the Region.

JSC  NOVATEK is Russia’s largest independent gas producer and the second-largest natural gas producer in Russia. Founded in 1994, the Company is engaged in the exploration, production, processing and marketing of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons.
