International Airport and passengers were greeted with flower garlands and traditional Sri Lankan dancers – in celebration of the arrival of UIA's new scheduled service from Kiev to Colombo.

"Sri Lanka as a tourist destination, has so much to offer" said Simon Bundle, UIA's Vice President Network Development & Revenue Management, " and whether it be the kilometres of pristine sandy beaches and crystal clear seas or 'Cultural Triangle' tours visiting the 8 UNESCO heritage sites, you will not be disappointed. Most important of all, NO VISA is REQUIRED for Ukrainian citizens!"
