OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2010. Nordea bank will start adjusting its banking systems to the euro. Due to that not all everyday banking transactions will be possible. Some functionalities will continue with disruptions or will not be available. Nordea phone bank (phone 1772 in Estonia,  plus 372 6283 300 from abroad) will assist you on a 24-hour basis during the euro adoption weekend. Some of Nordea's offices will also be open over the weekend from 12 to 15.

In short:

Over the weekend (from December 31 until January 3), not all of the online bank's functionalities will be available. Therefore, we recommend to make your payments either before the end of the year or arrange for them to be made on January 3. ATMs will not be operational from 23:30 on December 31 until 00:05; after midnight, ATMs will already dispense euro banknotes.

Card payments will be operational, interruptions lasting less than a minute are possible.
