On Monday, Dec 27, UX index added 0.29%, or 7.07ppt. Total equity turnover was high at UAH 179.9mn. All sectors finished with gains except steel makers (-0.3%) which declined mainly due to ENMZ (-0.84%). Banks were in demand with BAVL and USCB adding 4.32% and 2.33%, respectively. Coke producers closed in the black thanks to notable rise of SGOK ( plus 4.4%). Railcar producers advanced 0.2% with SVGZ ( plus 0.88%) moving against KVBZ (-0.42%). Among individual names LTPL closed 2.87% up growing on the corporate news. On the foreign exchanges most argo companies went up. Agroton (4.3%) and Kernel (3.2%) headed by growth. Astarta added 1.3% while Mriya dropped 1.2%.
