OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2010. Georgian GHN news agency struck the balance for 2010 and hosted the presentation of regular ‘Golden Parchment’ awards. The winners of award on 11 nominations were defined by conducting a survey among 2,600 respondents throughout Georgia. The respondents could freely define the ‘Person of the Year’ and choose the winners on other nominations among the nominees presented by various initiative groups and organizations.

SOCAR was awarded the ‘Golden Parchment’ as ‘The Foreign Company of the Year’. The winners of the award on ‘The Politician of the Year’, ‘The Businessman of the Year’, ‘The Project of the Year’, as well as other nominations were also announced at the ceremony.

It is to mention that the well-known Georgian politicians, public figures and companies that achieved great success in various fields were awarded the ‘Golden Parchment” in previous years.
