OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2010. ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. has closed the transaction to acquire a controlling stake in Canadian Uranium One Inc. JSC Atomredmetzoloto presently owns 492,217,929 ordinary shares in Uranium One representing 51.4% of all outstanding shares of the Canadian company.

As reported earlier, in June 2010 ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. announced the transaction which enabled ARMZ to increase its equity stake in Uranium One by purchasing new shares of Uranium One (356 mln ordinary shares). In consideration for such shares ARMZ contributed its 50% interest in JV Akbastau, its 49.67% interest in JV Zarechnoye, and USD 610 million in cash.
