OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2010. Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid 2.4 mln rubles to Mikhailovskie Prostory LLC located in Mikhailovsky settlement of Kurkinsky district of Tula region due to the crop loss.

Under the contract the winter wheat harvest on the total area of 1,850 ha had been insured for 15.7 mln rubles.

The drought of the last summer became the insured event. Due to high temperatures and lack of rains productive water resources on cultivated areas fell to critical level that lead to crop damage. An insurance survey was carried out in order to ascertain the damage incurred by Mikhailovskie Prostory. As a result, the event was recognized an insured event and Ingosstrakh paid indemnity to the company in full.

The insured crop is a subject of pledge of Tula Regional Branch of Rosselkhozbank OJSC under the loan provided.
