OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2010. Over the last three years Azerbaijan demonstrates steady growth in tourist inflow in the country.

Abulfaz Garayev, the minister of culture and tourism of Azerbaijan, says that the growth in tourist number from year to year changes.

"In one of the recent years the growth in the rate of tourists visiting the country reached 40%, then 5%, and this trend stabilizes more and more from year to year. Thus, in the next four or five years we can predict the growth of tourism in the country by an average of 10%,” Garayev said.

Growing number of traditional and international cultural events along with natural conditions also contributes to influx of tourists.
