OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2010. Ingosstrakh has paid reinsurance indemnity in the amount of more than 18.5 mln rubles under hull insurance policy of Mi-8T helicopter (owned by UTair OJSC), which sustained damages beyond overhaul reconditioning.

The insured event took place on October 9, 2009 during the flight from P-48 helicopter pad to Talakan deposit 363/04 drill derick (Republic of Sakha, Yakutia). The helicopter sustained damages in the result of heavy landing in the treebelt area due to serious undersling load swing of the helicopter.
