Ingosstrakh Awarded Winners of Competition of Students Papers

Abstracted versions of graduation and course papers participated in the contest as well as research articles of the second to fifth year full-time education students. They represent an individual development of the topic selected and contain the authors’ conclusions and recommendations on the problem studied. The contest papers were assessed proceeding from the criteria of the topic actuality, analysis independence, practical orientation, and scientific outlook of the author, logical sequence of presentation, fullness and depth of topic disclosure.

All the winners got Ingosstrakh’s encouragement prizes amounting to 30,000 rubles and diplomas of contest prizewinners.

This contest established in honor of the 50th anniversary of Ingosstrakh was held for the first time in
Andrew Veretenov, Deputy Head of the Department of Assessment and Regulation of Insurance Activity of Ingosstrakh, participated in the students’ papers contests in 1998. He thinks that participation in the contest makes every competitor to “bite more than one can chew”, sum up the student’s period of searching and settle down to a course of professionalism where work performance quality is the main criterion of assessment. Therefore, regardless of the results of the contest, any participant obtains invaluable experience in concretization of his objectives and expansion of professional knowledge, which may become a serious base for a future professional or an additional competitive advantage while searching a worthy and interesting job”.
