OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2010. A new chamber has been commissioned at the Gubkin mine at KMAruda Works: Chamber 3/11-Sretenskaya. Its commercial reserves total 330 thousand tonnes. Its contents consist of 35.7% iron and 31.5% magnetite.

The chamber is 52 meters long, 30 meters wide, and 55 meters high. Ferruginous quartzite from Chamber 3/11-Sretenskaya will be sent to DPK-3—specifically, to zone No. 2 of the crushing and preparation plant. This is the final chamber commissioned this year, according to schedule. In 2010, a total of 15 chambers were commissioned. This is the first time in many years that this figure has been reached.
