OREANDA-NEWS. December 23, 2010. Ten projects of TATNEFT Group of Companies have received the awards of the VI-th Republican Contest "Fifty Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan" arranged by the Venture and Investment Fund of Tatarstan and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. The winners awarding ceremony was held at the "Pyramid" Entertainment Center with participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of ministries and departments of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of Russian and European venture capital industry, as well as Russian and regional investment funds, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

1,503 applications had been submitted to participate in the VI-th republican contest for innovative ideas. This year's contest was held for 7 nominations: "Perspective", "Start of Innovations", "Nano-impulse", "Cooperation", "Best Invention of the Year", "Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan" and "Innovations in Education". The main criteria for selection of entries had been significance of the project for the Republic, its consistency with the current development level of science and technology and with the key priorities of the social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the possibility of the project commercialization.

Projects of NGDU Aznakaevskneft ("Installation for accumulation and delivery of tubing and sucker rods"); NGDU Jalilneft ("Latest technologies for interwell pumping of underground water in the reservoir pressure maintenance system"); TN-RemServis, TN-ChimServis ("Development and application of the effective solvent ASPO "INTAT" to remove the asphaltene, resin and paraffin deposits from oil wells, bottom hole zones and oil field equipment" were granted awards in the category "Cooperation".

In the category "Best Invention" the awards were given to three projects of NGDU Almetyevneft ("Method of centering the sucker rod pumping unit"; "Package of technologies for drilling small diameter wells" and "Prediction of complications in the process of wells construction"), two projects of NGDU Yelkhovneft ("Oil deposit development method" and "Installation for dual completion and production of beds in one well), as well as the project of TatNIPIneft R&D Institute ("Method of developing of heavy and extra-viscous crude oil deposits).

In the category "Social and Economic Development" the awards were given for the work of TatNIPIneft ("Solving the problem of water supply to the villages and settlements of the south-eastern part of Tatarstan in the conditions of oil fields development (by the example of Abdrakhmanovo village in Almetyevsk district)".
