OREANDA-NEWS. December 22, 2010. The Nizhny Novgorod branch of Ingosstrakh OJSIC has taken part in the interregional conference “Efficiency and cost effectiveness of innovative technologies in agriculture”, which was organized by Volsky Biochem.

The participants of the event included such agricultural holdings as NAPCO, Avangard Agro, Russian Grain, Kuban, Agrosila Group, TNV NIVA Mikheev and Co. and others. Reports were presented by the following experts: director of the Federal State Institution Agrochemical Service Center “Nizhegorodsky”, O. Shafronov, deputy head of the Department for Plant Industry Intensification under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Supplies of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, S. Plotnikova, and the director of Belgorod Agricultural Research Institute, A. Voronin.

The key issue of the conference was efficiency of microelement nutrition in plant industry. Volsky Biochem presented the results of a long-term research, which prove the cost effectiveness and high efficiency of micronutrients in various climates of the Russian Federation.

The participants of the event heard the report by the specialists of the Agricultural Industry Insurance Department of Ingosstrakh OJSIC, which highlighted the issues related to determining basic calculation parameters when entering into contracts for insurance of future harvest and calculating the insurance compensation as well as the presentation of the company’s products for crop insurance.
