OREANDA-NEWS. December 21, 2010. In November Estonian Air carried 1187 passengers between Tallinn and Kuressaare, which is 15.2% more than y-o-y. During January-November 2010, Estonian Air carried altogether 13489 passengers, which is 7.6% more y-o-y, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

“The growth of passenger number is driven by increase of the number of flights (added Wednesday flights), attractive fares and increase of the sales in international channels,” commented Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Vice President Commercial.

Estonian Air operates between Tallinn and Kuressaare nine flights a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. One-way fares to Kuressaare, if purchased from www.estonian-air.com, start from 252 kroons (as from 1 January 2011, the fare is 15.6 euros), including all fees and taxes, subject to availability.

In 2009 Estonian Air carried on Tallinn-Kuressaare route 11 330 passengers, which is 13% more than y-o-y.
