OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2010. The tender for selecting an investor for builing of the modern multilevel parking lot in the Chisinau International Airport will be announced within few weeks. The 700-car parking lot will be built in the framework of the state-private partnership project for two years and will be given to an investor for concession for 20 years, it was informed at the Ministry of Economy.

The investor will transfer 2% of its incomes to the Airport. A 150-car parking lot currently works near the Airport. It is situated on 0.9951 hectares.

According to the preliminary estimations carrieed out in the framework of the Chisinau International Airport Development Plan, its passenger traffic will increase to 3 million passengers for the next 20 years and so at least the 700-car parking lot will be needed.
