FAS Initiated Case against Authority of Velikii Ustyug District
OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2010. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against the authority of Velikii Ustyug District, Velikii Ustyug, and “АВС” Ltd. upon the signs of committing antimonopoly violations by determining locations for keeping seized vehicles, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
As provided for by Article 27.13 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations, under certain violations of the rules for vehicle use and driving, the vehicle should be seized and put on a specialized parking.
The above-mentioned local authorities passed normative acts that determined the parking of “АВС” Ltd. as the specialized guarded place for keeping the seized vehicles and also set the rates for the services for keeping the seized vehicle provided by “АВС” Ltd.
The local authorities did not organize municipal parking, which was in violation of No.759 Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 18th December 2003 “On Approving the Rules for Seizing Vehicles, Placing to the Parking, Keeping and Banning its Use”.
The case is scheduled for 26th January 2011.
