OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2010.  An Azerbaijani IT company is going to start creating reserve data centres since 2011.

Ultra reports that reserve data centres will be established on the basis of available information bases in the country’s regions with the purpose of ensuring safety of information of government importance.

The establishment of reserve data centres in regions will enable to provide security and safety of governmentally important information archives in case of natural cataclysms, earthquakes, mudflows and other emergency situations. Operation of data centres in regions will also allow fastening workflow on site.

The project will be realized within the frames of Azerbaijan ICT Development Program for 2010-12 "Electronic Azerbaijan".
