KASE Holds Training Contest-Game for Private Investors
OREANDA-NEWS. On December 15 - 27, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) shall hold the training contest-game for the limited number of private investors using the trading system demo application STrade, reported the press-centre of KASE.
The mentioned game is being organized to demonstrate to private investors possibilities of operating the KASE trading system through Internet, to make securities trading on KASE popular and to involve a re-tail investor to the organized stock market of Kazakhstan as well as to test newly developed client application of the trading system STrade (in the draft version the application was called the "thin client").
According to the game terms each participant to an account opened in the KASE trading system shall be accrued virtual KZT10 m. During the game, executing transactions with the most liquid on KASE shares of seven denominations, the project participants must try to form an investment portfolio, the cost of which shall be estimated regularly. The game winner shall become a participant with the highest market cost of the portfolio that shall be fixed on December 28, 2010 at 17:00 Almaty time.
Trades under the project shall be held on December 15 - 27, 2010, inclusive on working days from 11:30 to 17:00 Almaty time. The summation - on December 28 - 30, 2010.
Three best gamers will be identified upon completion.
The project's sponsor - Centras Securities will provide the winner with an investment portfolio consisting of shares included into the representative list of KASE Index, valued at KZT100.0 th.
Besides, KASE's subsidiary eTrade.kz intends to award each one of the three best gamers with:
- a free access for one person (broker's client) to Transit Orders Transmission Mechanism for one year's time;
- a one-year free subscription for one user (broker or client) to open key certificate with unlimited number of possibilities to change keys and passwords for access to Trading system.
