OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2010. The National Bank of Moldova purchased the sum equivalent to USD 6.16 million in the inter-bank foreign exchange market in November this year. Currency wasn’t sold in November.

The share of National Bank’s transactions in the inter-bank market in November 2010 made up 16.12%, in the total currency turnover – 1.03%.

According to the National Bank’s data, in October 2010 it purchased USD 20.56 million in the inter-bank foreign exchange market, in September - USD 14.2 million, in August - USD 14,625.91 thousand and sold USD 1.5 million.

In July 2010, the volume of purchase totaled USD 6,549.77 thousand, in June - USD 49.48 thousand, in May 2010 г. the National Bank sold USD 5.35 million and purchased USD 12.625 thousand, in April sold USD 12.25 million and purchased USD 14.7 thousand, in March purchased USD 10.77 million, in February purchased USD 497.3 and sold USD 39.09 million, in January sold USD 6.9 million.
