December 17, 2010. “Interfax Business Service” together with the magazine “Securities market” announced the results of III Annual IR-cases competition held among IR-specialists in Russia and CIS. IR-case “Using social media for IR” provided by Sergey Klinkov, Head of IR at Bank Vozrozhdenie, was recognized as the best one, reported the press-centre of Bank Vozrozhdenie.

“This year we’ve enjoyed a variety range of topics covered and creativity provided in the cases. I would like to stress companies and IR-professionals, who managed to participate in the competition regularly. Bank Vozrozhdenie presented cases all the three years the competition is held and became an absolute leader in this aspect. In such context victory of Sergey Klinkov’s case is both well-deserved due to the quality of material provided and is logical from the historical point of you”, — commented Stanislav Martushev, general director of “Interfax Business Service”.

In 2010 the competition gained international status with the support of London Stock Exchange and Investor Relations Society. Moreover, the event is traditionally supported by Financial Communications & Investor Relations Association, MICEX and Institute for Development of Financial Markets.

This year specialists from utilities, mining, telecom, financial and construction sectors of the Russian economy presented their IR-cases. Authoritative jury’s decision was based on four main criteria: novelty, efficiency, applicability and subjective evaluation of the experts.

“Influence of social media is increasing, and this is obviously a one-way trend. Growing frequency of the bank’s references in such resources implied our expansion in social media and communication with investors through these channels”, — said Sergey Klinkov.

Awarding ceremony and presentation of IR-cases took place on the 10th of December on MICEX during round table discussion “Secrets of the winners 2010”.
