OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2010. A scientific and technical fair of the ideas and proposals, which has already become traditional for TATNEFT Group of Companies, was arranged together with the Scientific and Technical Society of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year the fair has been dedicated to the 60-th anniversary of TATNEFT, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

TATNEFT is not accidentally considered one of the most high-tech companies in Russia. This fact has once again been confirmed by the exhibition organized at the Palace of Culture "Neftche" (Almetyevsk, Republic of Tatarstan), presenting the latest inventions, developments and technical solutions in various areas of industrial activity.

This year the contest committee has reviewed 450 proposals from 15 structural divisions and seven management companies. The works were nominated for fifteen areas: "Geology and development of crude oil and gas fields", "Enhanced oil recovery methods", "Well construction", "Repair of wells", "Crude oil and gas production", "Crude oil and gas treatment", "Reservoir pressure maintenance", "Machinery and equipment", " Power engineering", "Oilfield equipment corrosion protection and ecology", "Labor protection and industrial safety", "Information technologies", "Financial and economic activity", "Scientific and technological support of productive activities" and "Petrochemical activities".

By the number of awards received at the technical fair NGDU Almetyevneft was in the first place, TatNIPIneft ranked the second and NGDU Yelkhovneft was the third.

Individual prizes were also awarded in the "Best Innovator" category. The awards were presented to Rais Akhmetshin, First Deputy Head - Chief Engineer of NGDU Jalilneft; Rinat Aflyatunov, Head of TORNiGM of NGDU Yelkhovneft; Oleg Kamaev, Senior Engineer of the reservoir pressure maintenance technology service of NGDU Prikamneft, and Roman Tabashnikov, Chief Technologist of OOO Tatneft-AlmetyevskRemServis.

The events of this kind increase the creative activity of engineers and technicians, professionals and innovating workers of TATNEFT Group of Companies and help to solve many pressing technical, technological, geological, organizational and economic issues faced by the production personnel.
