Aeroflot to Serve Economy Class Passengers with Free Vine
OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2010. Aeroflot has started offering Economy Class passengers free vine, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.
Passengers traveling on international flights to Hanoi, Beijing, Hong-Kong, Seoul, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Innsbruck, Vienna, Salzburg, Brussels, London, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Munich, Hannover, Hamburg, Athens, Heracleon, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Rome, Milan, Venice, Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, Split, Geneva and Zurich can now enjoy the new Aeroflot Service.
Economy Class passengers will be offered the Terre di Ghiaia Merlot dry red vine and the Terre di Ghiaia Trebbiano dry white vine produced in Italy. Cielo e Terra Winery has been producing and selecting wine since 1908. Currently Cielo e Terra Winery is one of the leading wine producers of the Veneto region.
According to Vitali Saveliev, Chief Executive Officer of Aeroflot Airlines Company, this step was taken primarily to meet passenger demand. A survey carried out by the Bain & Company international consulting agency on estimating the customer loyalty index led to Aeroflot developing its service improvement program which includes changing the on-board menu. Vitali Saveliev related, “I share the sentiment with those passengers who take a glass of wine to relieve the flight stress. But I need to highlight that Aeroflot will continue to apply firm measures to keep under control those ‘uproarious’ passengers who do not know when to stop when drinking alcohol on board”.
