OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2010. Freight One’s Rostov branch hauled more than 15 million tons of freight on the NCRW in the first 11 months of 2010, up 28% over the same period of last year. In November alone the company hauled about 1.5 million tons of freight, up 35% over November 2009.

Petroleum products accounted for the greatest share of the increase (2.8 million tons, +60%), followed by building materials (5.5 million tons, +40%), coal (more than 1 million tons, +43%).

To ensure the availability of serviceable rolling stock, the Rostov branch performed capital and depot repairs on more than 4,300 cars (up 5% over the same period of 2009).
