OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2010. Equity fund I.D.E. Electricity Distribution Investments 1 Ltd., subsidiary to IES Holding, has acquired 80 091.051 (8.65%) common shares of Lenenergo from VTB. The forward agreement was signed November 18.

According to a spokesperson on the energy market, the package ownership scheme has not changed much: the package had actually belonged to IES, while VTB had only been its nominal holder. IES has refused to comment. “This is an internal financial transaction between IES and VTB”, another spokesperson, familiar with transaction terms, said. He added IES’s actual share in Lenenergo had remained unchanged.
