OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2010. Deputy Minister of Finance Victor Barbaneagra said the document was elaborated in accordance with the strategic guidelines recommended by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, other international organizations.

The Strategic Plan is a complex document called on to contribute to implementation of a series of reforms and transformations to introduce advanced international tax practices in Moldova. Particularly, one of the major goals of the Strategy is to raise the voluntary observance of their obligations by taxpayers through improvement of the services’ quality and cutting cost and time needed to fulfill commitments to the state public budget.

The Strategy stipulates reforming of the legal, organization and institutional normas, modernization of the approach to the voluntary observance of tax obligations, enhancement of the efficiency of usage of informational technologies in the tax administration.

Earlier, donors highly appreciated the development document stressing their readiness to support its realization. The Tax Inspection will hold negotiations on realization of the strategic priorities with its partners and donors, representatives of the IMF, USAID, SIDA, EU Delegation in Moldova.
