OREANDA-NEWS. December 15, 2010. Moscow Arbitration Court upheld the decision of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia), which found that “Omsk Airport” OJSC had violated Clauses 5 and 9 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” (abusing market dominance), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier the FAS Russia’s Commission found that actions of “Omsk Airport” OJSC – unreasonably evading a contract with “Siberia Airlines (“S7 Airlines”) OJSC for storage of aviation fuel in Omsk airport – were contrary to the norms of the Federal Law.

“We are satisfied with the Court ruling, as we are convinced that creating competitive conditions on the market of aviation fuel supplies helps reduce the tariffs for air transportation. Our earlier decisions on six cases related to similar violations by the companies providing aviations fuel storage in airports were supported by the Courts of three instances in full”, said the Head of the FAS Russia’s Department for Control over Transport and Communications, Dmitry Routenberg, commenting the Court ruling.
