OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2010. The record 2008 index of all passenger traffic volume in amount of 2,109 passengers was already increased this year at the begging of December 2010.

According to operative data, 6 December 2010 the rate of total passenger traffic in 2010 exceeded the rate of 2008 and made up 2 115.2 passenger. According to the data of November 2008, 979.2 passengers were served during the 11 month. This year in the period from January to November, the volume of total passenger traffic composed 2 082.1passengers, and exceeded the indices of 2008 to 5, 2%. And exceeded the indices of 2009 to 25.5% (1 658.8passengers).

We have exceeded the passenger traffic in 2008, and I can say that the development and modernization of airport`s infrastructure will continue, and therefore we should expect further wins and new heights, -noticed the general director of JSC "Airport Tolmachevo" Alexander Borodin.

Today`s indices prove that the airport has successfully managed with difficult economic conditions and has all necessary resources to increase constantly its operational indices. The important events in 2010, namely, air terminal reconstruction completion, opening of "green corridor", registration time increase for international flights and putting into operation of the second runway prove by the best means the development of the airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) as an international hub.
