The UX gained another 1.65% yesterday (the index is up plus3.05% in its last four sessions) to close at 2,246.77. Total equity turnover was UAH 177.8 mln. The top two names by turnover were Ukrnafta (UNAF UK), up 4.60% on UAH 39.0 mln, and Motor Sich (MSICH UK), up 1.07% on UAH 37.4 mln. The day’s best performers among blue chips were Donbasenergo (DOEN UK), up 7.33%; Stirol (STIR UK), up 4.92%; and Ukrnafta. On the interbank forex market, the Ukrainian hryvnya slid against the US dollar from UAH/USD 7.965 to 7.974.
