IDGC North-West Plans to Invest RUB 4.8 bln in 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2010. The fact that a number of subsidiaries of the Company switched to the RAB-based tariff system will give the possibility to increase the investments to the renovation of grid complex.
The volume of IDGC North-West investment program for 2011 is planned at USD 4 860.7 million rubles, including: technical re-equipment and reconstruction 3 683.6 million; new construction 1 141.4 million; acquisition of fixed assets 35.7 million. These figures are presented by the Deputy of General Director for Investments Aslan Chekhoev at a meeting of the Committee for Strategy and Development of the Board of Directors.
The IDGC North-West investment program 2011 Includes activities aimed at energy efficiency - 1,196 million rubles. or 25%, the introduction of innovative technologies and techniques - 489.5 million rubles. or 10% increase of anti-terrorism and security of power facilities - 48,6 mln. or 1%, renovation of the main equipment - 1 212.8 million rubles. that 25% of the total investment in 2011.
Investment program 2011 is 1,2 times more than capital investment in 2008, due to the transition of several branches of the Company to RAB-based long-term tariff regulation.
Committee for Strategy and Development considered to recommend to the Board of Directors approval of investment program for 2011 at USD 4 860.683 million rubles.
