OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2010. Today, on December 14 is the deadline for JSC “Ventspils nafta” request to provide information from associated company JSC “Latvijas kugnieciba” (LK). VN expects that during the day LK will provide answers to important questions concerning LK reports for 2009 and activities with company assets.

On Friday, December 10, VN exercised its rights provided by the Commercial Law and submitted a request to the Management Board of LK to provide information on the prepared audited annual reports of LK for 2009. The VN Management Board wants to receive information inter alia on the purpose of investment of the LK Group into shares of “Nafta Invest” Ltd and VN shares, information on whether LK has commenced a new business direction – trade with shares, on the initiated out-of-court legal protection proceedings of subsidiaries of the LK Group, as well as other information.

VN has required LK to give answers within the time-limit provided by the Commercial Law, no later than three days before the extraordinary shareholders meeting, i.e. until December 14, by submitting a response to the office of VN in Riga, Valnu Street 3.
