OREANDA-NEWS. December 14, 2010. Due to the appearance of a potential defect on the brake hoses on 1720 Chevrolet NIVA vehicles, GM-AVTOVAZ is requesting that dealers and customers of cars shipped from the plant between November 23rd and December 2d have their car inspected to determine if their car has a part that is at risk of failure. According to testing, this defect could lead to a reduction in the lifecycle of this component, reported the press-centre of GM-AVTOVAZ.

Should the defect be identified on a vehicle, a GM-AVTOVAZ dealer will repair the vehicle based on GM-AVTOVAZ recommendations and the expenses will be covered by the JV. Dealers, as well as customers who purchased vehicles with the aforementioned period, have been already informed that a vehicle check is necessary.

GM-AVTOVAZ apologizes for the inconvenience.
