OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2010. On Saturday, the 11th of December, Alexander Zhukov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, will visit OJSC KAMAZ. The high guests will be accompanied by Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, and Vasil Shaykhraziev, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny.

Accompanied by Danis Valeev, Chief Designer of OJSC KAMAZ – Director of R&D Center, the guests will visit Research and Development Center of OJSC KAMAZ where they will see an exhibition of vehicles and pilot industrial production. They will be shown a new cab, axles, and test beds there.

The guests will also visit the Center of Motor Sport of the KAMAZ-master team. Sergey Bubnovsky, the doctor of the team, will tell about medical training of the sportsmen in the sports hall where the winners of Dakar prepare for the next race.

At the end, the guests will visit Industrial Park “Master”. Alexander Zhukov will see joint ventures – Fuso KAMAZ Trucks Rus and Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok. It should be recalled that the both JVs were established at the end of 2009 to develop strategic partnership of OJSC KAMAZ and Daimler AG. This April, Fuso KAMAZ Trucks Rus launched production of Mitsubishi Fuso Canter. In October, output of Mercedes-Benz Actros and Axor heavy-duty trucks was started.
